Grenada: Grenada Distillers Limited,
distillers, blenders, bottlers and
distributors of the Clarke’s Court
brand, Grenada’s No 1 rum, has been
honoured with an award from the Grenada
Film Music and Art Industry.
Presenting
the Certificate to GDL’s Customer
relations Officer, Ms Anisa Elcock, on
Monday, GFMAI’s Chief Executive Officer,
Mr Nigel John, stated that he was
pleased to have the opportunity to hand
over this award.
Grenada
Distillers Limited was honoured as a
leading company helping to bridge the
cultural gap between Grenada and
Detroit, MI, USA.
As a good
corporate citizen, Grenada Distillers
Limited gave support for the African
American Dance Experience Workshop
conducted by famed dancer/choreographer,
Lisa Mc Call, at the University of the
West Indies in Grenada.
GFMAI’s
objective is to censor youth and provide
assistance for scholarship awards in
performance art standards ad mentorship
training programs; to teach standards of
performance that can assist and allocate
resources through working with
organisations in Grenada and through
other regional/international
collaboration; to teach standards of
performance art at all levels and help
students develop their critical skills
in solving problems and creating a
better society.

(as Grenada Sugar Factory) in 1937 has
been striving to manufacture quality
spirits for enjoyable consumption. Among
recent awards won at Tasting
Competitions worldwide are Gold for
Clarke’s Court Old Grog, Superior Light
Rum and Spicy Rum; and Silver for Rum
Sorrel, Rum Lemon, and, the only eight
year aged rum on the island, #37 Blend
Double Matured Rum. |
